Summer fun

We have been super busy this summer having sooo much fun that I really haven't gotten the chance to post. The three of us went to Maine to visit Aunt Nadine and the girls and you had a great time.  You loved the tide pools at the beach, playing in the sand and going blueberry pickin!  You and Mia were singing/ shouting "were going blueberry pickin."  You had such a good time that you didn't want to sleep.  You "wanted to hang out."

Busy Day

Eating blueberries, naked scooter rides, sneaking oatmeal cookies, first eye doctor visit, and blowing your first real bubble truly on your own.

Father's Day

We had a nice quite Father's Day at home with the Zieglers.  You, momma, and papa Ed made delicious oatmeal cookies.

You loved seeing all the animals.  After your initial hesitation you were elated about feeding the goats and petting them.  While petting the goats you were saying "caro caro."

The three of us made oatmeal cookies tonight.  You were enjoying playing with the baking soda and making a mess.  We all loved the cookies and you even asked to try the raisins!!!!  Success!!!!

Aquarium

Dad and you went to the aquarium today.  Your were super excited to tell me about the green fish when you got home... you were sooo excited that you couldn't get the words out.

Climbing out of the crib and big boy bed

You have been quit the gymnast and have been climbing out of your crib for a few days now.  Dad and I decided it was time for you to move into a big boy bed.  You love your new Elmo bed!!

Big Boy Bed :)

You climbed out of your crib so gracefully and walked into the kitchen while I was cooking dinner and told me "climbed out."  The next night when I was putting you to sleep you climbed out of your crib, as I was turning off the lights (you were so smooth and quiet I didn't hear a thing- until you appeared behind me) and continued to climb out every time I put you in the crib.  The next night you try climbing out of your crib and I literally catch you at the wee hours of the morning.  And the next night you fall out of your crib crying in the early morning.  Dad and I FINALLY decide that it's time to make the move.  Daddy transforms your crib into a toddler bed and you are thrilled with the new Elmo decor!  You are soo excited about your big boy bed that I find you climbing into it all day long :)  

Happy St. Patrick's Day

When I saw you in the morning you had a huge smile on your face and you were beaming as you showed me the shamrocks on the wall and said Happy St. Patrick's day :)

Silly goose

You are such a ball of energy these days.  You have the sweetest laugh and you are definitely a jokester  like your daddy.  Anything your dad tells you not to do- you love doing.
This weekend we had Alyssa's sweet 16.  You were running around having a ball with daddy.  When I asked you if you wanted to go to sleep at 11pm, you told me "no dance!"

You love singing these days.  Some of your favorites are Old McDonald, Twinkle Twinkle, and Thomas the Tank Engine.

February Fun Chilling in the House

Cold Friday in February

This morning you were super excited to hear the Pinguino song and kept asking me to put it on.  I suggested that you ask Maestra Alberta to play it for you.  Well a few hours later in class she played your song and your face lit up with a huge smile.  You had a great time making the penguin dance to the music and even gave it a few hugs.

After class we went to buy Daddy flowers for his birthday and Emealio gave you a balloon, which you were super excited about!

Last night I asked you for a kiss, as I was putting you in your crib and you gave me a precious kiss on my cheek :)

Busy At Work

(From Dad) - As I was sitting at the desktop computer I looked over and saw you had climbed right up onto one of the dining room table chairs and were getting to work on Mom's laptop.  

 Then you noticed me noticing you.

 Realized you were being a rascal.

 I probably said, "Dean, what do you think you're doing???"

 You gave me one more look to see if it was ok.

 "Probably not" you thought to yourself, "but boy am I clever."

And then you went into your meditation pose for the ladies.
