What you both are up to these days?

Dean
You are obsessed with everything involving Madeline- especially her feet.  We are constantly telling you to leave her alone.

You love reading.  Some of our current favorites are the Frog and Toad short stories and the Pigeon books.

You love watching your shows- Peppa Pig, Dino Dan (this is a new favorite), Curious George and for a while Sid the Science Kid.

You try to drive me crazy any chance you can get-- your latest is the jumping on the guestbed (we know it as the big girl bed). Just tonight you decided we are going to do thumps up for good behavior and thumbs down for bad behavior. You want me to make a chart for the refrigerator.

Madeline
You are obessed with Dean and he always makes you smile-- even thought he takes whatever it is you are playing with.

You like to play with Dean's toys and you are constantly trying to get to the Thomas Windwill.

You are standing and starting to cruise- although I prefer if you stick with crawling.

You love eating these days- especially oatmeal cereal and homemade babyfood.

You love your purple sippy cup and enjoy teething on it- althought I don't think you figured out how to actually drink from it.

You are super quiet- except at night when its just you and Mom.

You have the sweetest most precious smile.

What you are up to these days

You like the Valentine dog that Gaga bought you and you now love the song "Locked Out of Heaven."  You are adorable when you sing sooo long!!
Dad and you watched the movies Cars 2 and you are obsessed with all the characters.  Most of the day you will be playing with your cars- letting them vroom fast and acting out scenes from the movie and your imagination.
You know that a baby is coming and you are looking forward to it coming after Jessica's birthday.  You talk about the baby a lot.  The baby is going to sleep in a the green room with a green crib.  You are looking forward to the baby buying you an angry birds puzzle and when the baby is 2- so it can do puzzles.

I told you that you needed a haircut today and you disagreed telling me that your hair is not up to your eyes.

Canola

You and mom made delicious granola today.  You were eating all the chocolate chips instead of adding them to the mixture.  You kept asking for more and more "canola" and was looking forward to sharing it with Daddy for him to say "yum--- yum."  You liked it sooo much that I caught you three times trying to sneak it out of the glass container on the counter.

We continued the tradition and made Christmas cookies with Tyler and James.  Allie came to visit for a little while, but then went to the city with the older cousins.  You loved the custom that Tyler gave you for a present.  Ofcourse you all kept me and Aunt Jessie so busy that we didn't have time to get more pictures.
